couldin you run a stand alone tcm i mean i really dont like that trany my dads truck has it its very slugesh filling i would go with the 4l80e thats what i will stand by cuz i no it will hold up

Someone can. But it's on a whole different nomenclature than the old school stuff. Better off getting a 6.2 and 6L out of a Sierra Denali, etc. and swapping the whole thing....ECM, TCM and all.
so there is no pcm just separate ecm and tcm
