if i could get a 6.0 for not to bad a price i would jump on it

i just don't want a 4.8, not that anything is wrong with it

i searched for lkq in the members list and couldn't find the name

For about $2000 you should be able to find a decent mileage LQ9 complete.

Where can you find a LQ9 for $2000? Name and Phone number? Any problems bolting this to a 5 Speed?

PM DBTBSS and he can give you the name and phone number. HiwayAuto in Brownwood, I think, Texas is another. Tell them you're from LS1Truck for best pricing. As for bolting it to a 5 speed, depends on what the 5 speed is out of. There's a place there in TN that has some good prices, too. Tennessee Auto Salvage or something like that. I've dealt with them in the past and they've got some good prices, or at least did when I bought from them. They sell on Ebay, too.

You can also try this place out: Thousands of auto parts, late model cars and trucks at Certified Auto Recycling .
It is in Ardmore Al. I don't know how far you are from them. Sorry forgot to quote, this info is for Old Nash.

The truck is a 1992 Chev with 350 engine and factory 5 speed and 3:08 rear.
I will check out the sites. Located on Va/Tn line with a little 1/2 mile racetrack nearby.
