You can use the 3 wire sensor, its from a 98 Camaro/TransAm, but the resistor value inside the sensor is wrong for your dash gauges, it will always be off.

I'm actually running a 95-98 cluster. Would the resister value be wrong for those guages? If it was to be off would it be off by much?Originally Posted by RedHeartbeat
Anyone know? I read where nitrous said he used the s&p adapter and his temps. were off by around 12 degrees. Would the readings be of that much using the 3-wire with my guage cluster?
I ran out of options on the 93 I'm doing now as to where to put the water temp sensor so I tapped the water pump, behind the tensioner pulley, and put the factory 93 sensor there.
