    new from san antonio

    hey guys a buddy showed me this site for good tech about my truck
    im austin, i live on the northwest side of san antonio
    here's my truck
    2004 chevy 2500hd crewcab 4x4
    6.0/4l80e
    frontier replacement front bumper and 285 nitto's
    im getting ready to have it tuned by chris 85mudblazin and so i'll have some questions are what would be a good mild tune with the hptuners software.
    i daily drive my truck and tow a car hauler with a buggy on it so i don't need anything crazy.

    it tows this
    total package is 5000lbs or under for the bugyg and trailer
    so what would are good htings to do to the towrig to improve mpg, overall response and hp/tq and towing
    eventually (when chris gets does his turbo) i'll be getting his afe intake and his longtube headers and 3" single exhaust

    The CAI, LTs, and full exhaustr will help. A custom tune will help out a lot too. The 6.0L in your truck would benefit from a larger or ported TB, a set of underdrive pulleys, and possibly a torque-biased cam. Or one one the best things to create diesel-sized torque numbers just off idle is to throw on a Radix. Guaranteed to pull the trailer easier and put a huge smile on your face.
