tell me about it, yeah the colony is nice, its growing way too fast, they are suppose to be throwing in a lowes, target, a bunch of restaurants and other things as well as soon as the tollway is finished, im going to be getting lost in my own home town of 21 years if they keep changing **** around

I would seriously look into the smaller departments. Go around and put in apps at smaller places and keep bugging them. Eventually they will give you a part time shift. Dont be an idiot, and do as your told, and respect the patients, your officer, the truck, and above all else respect yourself. I have friends that have given up on the fire service after 2-5 years without luck. But they aren't trying hard enough. You have to want it. Fire Academy Online, EMT, Firefighter School, Online Fire Academy <<<<<< I highly recommend this place I went here and They now offer a EMT-Paramedic class. Just under $3000 and you can work at your own pace. Great staff there too. Oh yeah its mostly online.
