411 PCM MIL Circuit & Serial Data Wires

I thought I saw on ALLDATA that the MIL light came out of the PCM.

But I dont see it. How does the check engine light get the signal?

I see that the PCM has 2 data wires. Class 2 Serial Data & ECM/PCM/VCM Class 2 Serial Data. I am assuming that the 2nd one is communication between those 3 modules, correct?

Im starting to thin out the wires that I dont need as I have the whole engine harness separated for each component.

    Thanx

pin 58 on the blue connector which is a green wire should be the OBD2 serial wire. MIL is pin 46 on the red connector should be brown and white wire

this is how to hook up your ob2 connector http://lt1swap.com/fuseblock_obd2port.html

this proves pin 58 on BLUE connector is dk green for the serial data http://lt1swap.com/2000harness.htm

and this is for all other pin outs for 99-02 pcm's (since yours is an 01' correct?) http://lt1swap.com/99-02_vortec_pcm.htm

Exactly. Or you just get to where I was and completely forget. Between ALLDATA and LT1SWAP and various others. Makes my head spin. But I am glad I tore the harness apart because now it has all fallen in to place as to how to make it work.
