    60E to 80E 4x4 questions...

I did a search but no luck.. 5.3 Finally came apart the other day. FM turbo Lq4 going in now and i picked up the transmission with it, i also have the harness from a 2005 HD suburban 4x4 and the harness from a 2001 2500 2wd that the LQ4 and 2wd 4L80E came from.
#1 Whats the most efficient way to go about converting the output shaft to to mate to my manual transfer case in my 2005 1500? Do i need to change to the stock 4x4 output shaft AND change the input on my t-case? And how hard is it to do either of these... very mechanically inclined and have built a variety of things... but NEVER messed with a Electronic OD or Newer transfer case before... Local transmission shop quoted me $200 labor to install the output shaft and a shift kit, with me supplying the parts.
#2 Should i just add the required plugs and wires to my harness or use the harness from one of the other vehicles that had a 4L80E? The 05 surburban harness has the transfer case wiring which i don't need... i have a manual case.

Thanks for any and all help! I'm trying to make this as headache free as possible.

The electronics should not matter as long as your manual transfer case has no speed sensors. You might be able to swap 4l80s with someone that has a 4x4 and needs 2wd. Its a long shot though. You will have to change the input shaft in the transfer case to be able to mate to 4l80. EADperformance.com has the gears for your swap. I dont know exactly what you have to do to make the 4l80 into 4x4.
