Cold Air Intakes- Input and suggestions

I would like to have everyones opinion on what you think is the best CAI. I am looking to either buy a kit or make my own since I would like to run mine to the drivers side since I am keeping my battery in the stock passenger location. If you ran your CAI to the drivers side, Id like to know what you did, and also what you think is a good product for the money. I know K&Ns are pricey but that seems like what everyones going with these days

In my 92 5.3 swap I cam out of the throttle body and went straight down to behind my 4x4 skid plate. Then drilled (2) 1.5" holes in the plate and put the filter right there. Works great especially since I have it all wrapped in thermal wrap.

They're always a good thing to have, but that being said, You can order tubing from siliconeintakes and make your own fairly easily.

It's a truck that a member on here used to own. It was sold to another member, then sold to a kid, then sold to another kid. Cam/stall/nitrous in an OBS stepside.
