    5.3L Build

Hey guys, new to the forums. Here is my 5.3L build that will be going in my Black 1992 C1500. Things Done: Chromoly rings, SDPC Z+221 Cam ( 221/226 .565/.560 114 LSA ), ZO6 upgrade valve springs, double chain billet timing set ( had to clearance the front cover ). All new cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, seals, gaskets, o-rings, freeze plugs. Honed cylinder walls, machined heads. Just finished the grinding, cutting and sanding on the top of the stock manifold, going to be painting it a flat black. A set of red aluminium fuel rails and steel braided cross over ready for that. Red MSD plug wires. Ordering starter, alternator, power steering pump and a set of JBA silver ceramic coated shortys in 2 weeks. Then just wiring harness / ECM, flexplate spacer and motor mount adapters. YAY!

truck is dropped, thinking im going to have upper arm clearance issues but the JBA shortys can flow. they have a cone built in the center of the collector to increase transitional smoothness from the primary tubes to the collector, internal welds, 14 guage steel, 3/8 flange. For some reason i cant find a picture of the truck, i have tomorrow off ill grab a couple then.

Plenty of boys here with LT's and fat drops. Ask some of the heavy hitters more than one riding low enough to touch the ground out their windows haha
