96 model gmc, 5.3 headers?

They're close but you'll be fine. Once you get moving there's so much air going through there the frame and brake lines will never know it. My headers are 1/2" to 3/4" from my steering shaft boot and it's still in great shape.

sounds good. I'm gonna use these until you can get us a good deal on long tubes.
