I thought I saw on ALLDATA that the MIL light came out of the PCM.
But I dont see it. How does the check engine light get the signal?
I see that the PCM has 2 data wires. Class 2 Serial Data & ECM/PCM/VCM Class 2 Serial Data. I am assuming that the 2nd one is communication between those 3 modules, correct?
Im starting to thin out the wires that I dont need as I have the whole engine harness separated for each component.

pin 58 on the blue connector which is a green wire should be the OBD2 serial wire. MIL is pin 46 on the red connector should be brown and white wire

Exactly. Or you just get to where I was and completely forget. Between ALLDATA and LT1SWAP and various others. Makes my head spin. But I am glad I tore the harness apart because now it has all fallen in to place as to how to make it work.Quote:
