what sensor is this?

What sensor is this. it bolts to the side of the 4L60E. had to remove the shift linkage to get to it.

gear range selecter.....park neutral safety switch.....reverse light switch

Did you unplug it first?

well i am tring to get the one connector you see still connected out. I am sending the harness off to be rebuilt.

just lift the grey tab, get a small flat head screwdriver and pry, should come out

GM was nice enough to put glue in them. Take a hair dryer or heat gun and put some heat on it for about 30secs. It will come apart then.

I finally go tit apart. tore up the connector some but a really small hammer and punch did it. no real harm done. but yes i see now that it was glued in.. *L* oh welll thank yall for the info.

when in doubt...beat it with a hammer.
