5.7 swap for 6.0 need all advice or suggestions

i posted my first thread in the newbie forum and dont know how to move it so i apologize for posting twice. have a 98 gmc k1500 ext 4x4 that has a 5.7 that is blown and also has the 4l60e tranny. my plans are to purchase a 6.0 to replace the 5.7 and a 5l80e to replace the 4l60e. this is my first swap over to ever do and will only be my second time installing a motor so i need tons of advice suggestions or pointing in the right direction because im not a mechanic whatsoever. for starters i would like some input on which motor to buy. o know purchase one that is 02 or above but out of the 2 which will best suit me the lq9 or the lq4. i know the 9 has more torque and horses and also a higher compression. this truck is used for a fair amount of off roading and its sitting on 38.5 inch boggers so i want the motor thats gonna handle em the best. the 60e tranny will be replaced with the 80e so bolt up will be made simple. now from reading different peoples threads here and there and scouring the net i have figured out some stuf i will need but i doubt i figured it all out. any help will be greatly appreciated whether it be technical or even just telling me where to buy a bracket.

LQ4 is your cheapest route

your tranny ive heard of a 4L80E, 6L80E but never a 5L80E what does it come in?

get a 03-07CLASSIC 6.0 an find a 3 bolt DBC TB vs the DBW TB that comes on the 03+ unless your gonna rebuild it anyways then get an 02..its up to you

i used custom machined adapter plates they're heavier duty than the other ones ive seen, 100.00

you'll need fuel line adapter fittings to a -6AN fitting an some SS line

my apologies i didnt check for any typing errors before i submitted. i will be using a 6L80E not a 5L80E which i doubt exists lol. i plan on buying wiring harnesses figured it would be smarter and faster. im not planning on doing any tear downs and rebuilds on the motor. ive located a few 6.0s ranging anywhere from 700 to 1500 all with some warranty on them and all im wanting to do is do away with the 5.7/4L60E and go 6.0/6L80E. maybe later on down the road ill start doing some modding to the motor making it put out more but not right now.
