I'm buying the fitting to use steel braided hose for my transmission cooler lines but I can't find what sizes are used. anyone know? also is -6an large enough for the hose size?

TCI says 1/4 pipe thread.
And if you forget which way the fluid is flowing on any trans.....looky!!

Be careful if using 1/4 pipe threads. They are not an exact match to the threads in the trans. I have seen when they are overtightened that you run the risk of cracking the case. I have used them but if you do, do not be a gorilla when tightening them up. I use some red anaerobic sealer on the threads and just snug them up to the point where I am comfortable with them. Never go to the point to where they stop turning. That is when bad things happen. I would take a look at the link I provided. Those seem to be an easy solution and still use the factory fittings in the case. Just a thought. Vince
