What size rims/tires for ET streets

I have an '06 silverado with drum brakes in the rear and a 2/4 drop. I'm trying to figure out how small of a rim and how big of a tire I can use. I was hoping to use 15 inch rims and about a 9 inch wide tire. After entering my tire specs into HP tuners, I'm currently using tires with a heigth of 29.7 and I would like to stay as close to that as possible with the ET streets. Suggestions?

295/65/15 on either a 8" or 10" rim will work perfect. Mickey Thompson Et Streets.

Mickey Thompsons are exactly what I'm looking at. What about the back spacing though?

You would want the same Backspacing that you are running now..

That's what I figured. Thanks for your input. It looks like this will be easier than I thought.

Hey Bryan I ran tiny e.t. streets launching in the 150 shot and a 3600 stall in the 4.8, I def think those bigger ones will work for you. I'm ready to see what that thing will do in the 1/4!!

Ya, I'm ready to see what she'll do in the 1/4 too. Hence why I'm trying to fit some good and sticky tires.

M&H tires are a lot stickier than the Mickeys but they don't have anything taller than 28" that would fit.
