New shoes, my wife is amazing ***pics added***

Soooo, for my BDay, my wife got me a track setup. M/T 295-50-16's and 225-55-16's for the front. Rims are the soft 8 style 16x8. Gonna get them mounted on thurs and head to the track on Sat. Pics will be up shortly. She totally surprised me though. I thought she had gotten me a recliner for the living room or something but when I got home from TX i saw them sitting in the garage!!! I was pretty floored. Do these need to be heat cycled?

I think the fronts looks a little short but maybe I just have to get used to seeing my truck with them on. What do ya'll think?

If its just a track setup, they're great... also for some Mexico runs.

How'd you get 16's on the front? Or is your truck older and you have a 2006 front end on it? Either way looks good, now go test 'em out

If Mexico wasn't 2k miles away I'd be down. Canada on the other hand is only 2 hrs away from me.
Thanks Zach. the stance is starting to grow on me.
Frenchy, the 16's fit. I think once you get down to 15's is when you have to grin calipers or go with the calipers from the S-10.
I tested them out on one of the back roads around here. They certainly do hook better than my 20's. My butt dyno tells me that it is accelerating quicker. Track times will tell all on Saturday. I snapped a better pic of it's stance. Gotta get used to how low the front is too, Damn curb jumped out infront of me earlier!
