Thread: how much HP? TQ?

    i have a 99 Z71 5.3 with a granatelli mas air sensor...K&N intake..tornado..airaid tbspacer...msd wires...bosch plat 4 plugs...granatelli predator tune with firmer shifts and shift points at 1-2 40 at 5800 and 2-3 at 80 at5700 and 3-4 at 5700...flowmaster 50 series exhaust with turndowns.. my truck will chirp 2nd so it does have some nut, i was just wondering what my approximate HP would be if anyone could give me and idea i still need to take it to the track and to the dyno but i was just wonderin if anyone could predicet what id have..

    NELSON 93 hot tune, 02 PCM, VOLANT Ram air intake, MSD wires, ACdelco iridium plugs , Edelbrock ceramic shorty headers, jegs off-road y pipe, Dynamax int pipe, 3" Magnaflow Exhaust with turndown, EGR removal, throttle body bypass, vette servo, long servo pin, performance 4th apply piston, B&M shift kit, SLP 160* thermostat, LS1 Fans, NELSON harness, ported and polished throttle body (did it myself, for free lol)..... _______? cam is next as soon as i stop spending all my money

    If I had to guess. I would say around 270 to the wheels.
    No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

    My original whipple numbers before the cam were right at around 305hp to the wheels.

    The cam added 40hp.

    I&#39;m hoping for another 50 when I add the 6.0

    how much hp tq will the motor produce? if u predicet 270 at the wheels also anyone else wannna throw in their 2 cents

    I&#39;m wonderin the same for me.....i have 99 5.3 too.....160 powerstat, nelson 93 tune, di/do 50 series flow, volant CAI.
