    Ls3 ( gold blade) on 04?

    Long story short I bought an ls3 tb without researching and thinking they were all the same. Some people have gotten lucky and had 0 issues. I'm not gonna even try until I swap heads and intake. My question is are any of you guys running them? Supposedly you can ignore the codes they typically throw with the tune and all is good. Any experience with this and if it may be better to just sell and get the ls2 90mm silver blade tb? Any advice is appreciated.

    The connector isnt even the same, 8 pin vs 6 pin, so it's not a pnp solution.
    As far as I know you need the torque rush harness
    All the dtc's related to the throttle body and rep mode are critical and even when turned off doesn't solve the issue.

    It's obvious but I'll mention it's a 4 bolt tb.

    Yeah I knew about the x link and I will be changing to a 4 bolt throttle intake of some kind just didn't want to get into the dreaded rep codes

    with the torque rush and the tb, we don't run into rep issues.
    if we do, they are legit and require troubleshooting.

    go for it if you need the 90mm, pretty much the only way.

    Does it matter what the throttle body came from or are they all the same? Tried to find out what this one is for but no luck by the numbers on there.

    gold blade, they came on the '09 and up vettes and similar stuff...

    Ok... Thanks for the help! It will either be on an nnbs intake or proflo xt... Haven't made my mind up yet.
