    codes and computer?

On my way to work my truck beeped and it said tighten the fuel cap but the engine light went off instead of staying on cuz it had been on for a month before this but I recently had my cats cut off so I would think the engine light would of stayed on because of the missing cats does anyone have any ideas..did my computer adjust itself??

it's the evap stuff then, probably the gas cap, it's almost impossible to fix if the cap don't fix it, we usually end up turning the code off.

yes, there will be history in the pcm.

But since I just cut off my cats shouldn't the engine light still be on? did the computer adjust or something for no cats??
