Are you looking for performance or just a standard rebuild? I purchased a 4l60E from the dealership for $1075.00 with a 3 year warranty. It was Champion right off the Beltway and 45 South. I did have a connection though.

You might want to check with Arabie in Baytown. I'm not sure if he does the 4L60e's or not, but I know he can build a bad ass 700R4 and turbo 400. If you are just wanting a factory trans, I did the same thing as NITROUS. I bought one for my yukon and had a better warranty than when I bought the truck new, although my connection got me mine for $1200.

well i also wanted a built trans not factory mine is doing so so but im putting in a zo6 and a set of ported ls1 heads. probably with longtubes and a tune and i dont think it would be able to handle all that.
