Last year the truck came in with much needed parts.
Has a DIY turbo kit w 76magnum. Stock 5.3 heads; Hmm
Got it going decent and made almost 640hp to the wheel.
Drivability sucked due to instant spool up and power being over by 4000rpms and slowing down around 100mph
Fast forward.
We replaced the small turbo with a BW80mm. 90lb inj. Meth.
Stock ls3 heads.
Made a tad under 840hp on the same psi, 14psi
That's all the stock pump could handle with the meth supplementing.
Customer coming back for round two.
Entire new fuel system.
Btw this is on 93oct. No race fuel.
More fuel and boost
Should hit 1000hp.
