Ok i dont know what else it could be ....

has new plugs, new wires, new fuel pump assembly, found that broken tensioner ,replaced with ls2 tensioner and new chain...tune is dead on....and this thing still backfires from a dig at wot...even at 30 40 roll sometimes....i give up...maybe i mest up something while it was running super lean on the bad fuel pump?

next thing i will try is a 3600 stall...maybe the cam doesnt like the low rpm..cause dont get me wrong it runs good other than the annoying backfire u can hear a block away haha

i may even put the l92 truck intake back on if nothing else....

still might be what i was explaining when you were here.

i believe it still popped when in park, correct? the converter will really make that truck get out of the hole, but might not help the pop.

Do the simple stuff..compression test and leakdown. See if there is a valve issue..

A leak down test as well as a compression test should tell the tale. Does it still have converters? Is the backfire out the exhaust or the intake?
