Snuck in and got a connection for the moment. Got out of the house with the GMC instead of the Blazer this morning so the plan is coming together. I'm leaving Garland around 3ish (I hope) and have one stop in Lewisville before heading out. See you there...

Moze was sick so we all bailed. I went to Denton instead. I tried to post but the site was down.

I was there for a short while but I did not see anyone. I made two passes then left. I totally would have gone to Denton instead (for many reasons) especially since I passed it by on the home to go another 47 miles north. Oh well, I got to get some times at a track with a weird timing system.

I'm thinking the 1/8 mile timers are at 600 ft and the 1/4 mile timers are at 1200. I picked up 0.3 in the 60' and 0.7 in the 8th without changing anything (as compared to N*). There is no way it's a traction difference because my Denali won't even spin at N*.

I'll try to post up a time slip scan in a minute...

I want to apologize to everyone. I felt like absolute crap all day at work but thought I would be ok to go race. Me, Greg, Virgil,a nd Marc all met up at On The Border in Denton. I sat in there for maybe 5 minutes and the just the smell made me feel like I was going to throw up. So I went out to the truck to try and grab some shut eye and the "about to throw up" feeling never went away. So I called Virgil and told him there was no way I was going to make it. Headed home - got about 10 minutes down the road and looked down and my coolant temp was pegged. Pulled over and the top coolant hose coming off the reservoir blew off where it goes into the radiator. No tools. So I'm there with a key trying to tighten the clamp. Finally got it, made it to a gas station, popped the hood, it had blown off again. Then I threw up by the air machine. Yum. Went in, bought a water, and used the dime I got back to tighten the clamp down better. Filled it with water and then had to deal with extremely heavy traffic all the way back to Mesquite. Took a chance and got in the HOV lane, window down because I felt like I was going to throw up again. Finally made it home without incident, got in bed at about 5 and didn't wake up til 8 this morning.

That's my sob story. Sorry to everyone that made the long trip. Sorry to bail.
