    Few updates

Braided Tranny lines ( praying they dont leak) For the parts where u see cut rubber hose, that is where it is going to slide over the original steel line that screwed into the tranny and ill just clamp it. PS it was def worth running braided line vs. trying to get the prebent lines in there. It took me 20 minutes alone just to shimmy the old prebent lines out!

MSD Starter- Pricey....but totally worth the looks through the fenderwell :-P

    Few updates cont.

Modded electronic gas pedal ( may be up forsale due to going to DBC)
I modded the heck out of this pedal...took me 3 times to get it right but its basically perfect now. When you are WOT it bottoms out on the carpet. In the pics, when my hand is on the pedal it means im pressing it down so you can see the clearance.

Steam vent tube- evacuates the air bubbles in the cyl. head. Drill water pump with 11/32 then use a 1/8 pipe tap. buy a 1/8 pipe tap to 3/16 hose barb fitting off summit.

looking good. i want to do the same thing with my trans cooler lines because mine are trashed. do the russell fitings screw right into the case? the lines i have now arent screwed in. they are connected by some plastic clip or something.

Yup I had the same plastic clip lines too...I ripped em out. This is what you need for 4l80e. The longer fitting goes in the rear. http://www.sweetperformance.com/prod...&productId=496

Oh ok that's awesome and they weren't even that expensive either. I have a 4l60e however. Did you have to tap the thread into the case it do they just screw right in?

Mine just screwed right into the case. I ordered different ones from summit, not the ones in the link above. But once I removed the original ones I found out that the rear line fitting has a 3" long tube thats inside of the case ( and the ones i ordered didn't have that 3" extension). I think thats just for return purposes and my new fitting didnt have that....we will see if it leaks or not :-p

    Driveshaft

Todays work consisted of me taking a bath in tranny fluid...changed out the rear seal on the transfercase just for good insurance and installed my stock driveshaft....the good news: it fits

The bad news: Its really close to not fitting lol. Luckily my truck is lifted and I think thats why it fits, but im not sure how much I should risk it. And I am def not having a new one made or mine shortened so its just going to stay in there now and Ill make sure I dont put too much of a heavy load in the back to make it squat. Looks like I have about a half inch to an inch of play before it bottoms out in the tcase
