    Well I called the deallership on the part numbers to get prices the lower bell housing part # is no good the good part# is 15765623!

    we did the swap on mine this past weekend and also found a flexplate that doesnt require a spacer...i left the box at Jon's with the PN though....i will call him in a bit to find out what the number was

    Hey guys I am putting all the parts together for the trans swap and here is a parts list from fastenal for the longer lines needed for swap we use the same fittings on the aircrafts guaranteed not to leak and for high vibration all you will need is some 3/8's tubing for ext.

    What year is that crossmember out of? Mine looks nothing like that

    Well I got it from the salvage yard it is the same one that is in my 06 crew cab 1/2 ton I just assumed that all 03 and on up 1/2 ton 2wd were the same I know the earlier 99 and up were different!

    well i just blew my 60e for the 7th time in my 96 gmc. a buddy told me he had a 80e i could have that's in good condition. so since everybody seems to be doing this swap in newer models what would be needed to do it for my 96? the 80e's from a 97 1 ton with a 454 but my buddy sold the motor and harness
