Anyone tried that cam in a 6.0L yet? If it makes good torque in a 5.3 I would imagine it would make great torque in a LQ4. I wonder how much the extra cid it would shift the power band down.

I've been trying to figure out where the powerband would begin and end on my LQ4, since the cam was rated for 1300-6500 for the 4.8 and the 5.3, I think this may estimate it roughly.
avg engine size cam is rated for
5.3 + 4.8 = 5.05
displacement difference
6 - 5.05 = .95
Percentage increase
.95 is 18.81% of 5.05
Since the 6.0L is on average 18.81% larger than the 4.8 or 5.3 then wouldn't that mean, seeing that the powerband is a function of engine size vs cam specs, that the powerband would be lowered about 19%.
So the range of 1300 - 6500 would be more like, 1055 - 5277 rpm
Hm... Well its a thought at least. 5277 doesn't sound right for a cam with as much more duration over stock at .050.
