another good solution to getting stuff to stick is using 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner instead of alcohol. It is a lot more expensive and can ruin some plastics but it is a sure-fire way to make sure anything sticks. It cleans the surface much better than anything else.

If you put dynamat around the mid in the doors, won't you see it through the grill/screen on the door? I think that would look like sh!t.

    no you won't see it.

you do see dynamat through the speaker grilles in these trucks with certain speakers. I always painted the dynamat black around where the speaker hole is, about 4" around the hole.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I haven't had the door panels all the way off yet to take a good look. BTW how do you get that big connector out of the power window/locks switch? That was holding me up the other night, I was tired so I just put it back together.

there is a lock tab on the top, push it down and the grey arm will flip over to the other side.

if you put in a big system 140db's up, the roof will rattle so get some 1/2 inch mdf (2 pieces about 14 x 20) and glue them with a industrial 400 directly to the roof and reinstall your headliner works perfect
