Reveived my starter yesterday and also my S&P adapters for the original coolant sensor and the original oil pressure switch. I really need that retaining clip for the driver side fuel rail. Anyone know the part number?
Today I got my S&P adapters today that move the engine back an inch. WOW, what a difference. I'm back to where I should be. Can't wait untill Sunday to be able to work on it again.
Also, my fuel setup was delivered last night. Dorman products supplied all the parts. Should be pretty straight forward.
Finally, sourced my intake setup. NICE.
Send me a PM with your address and i will mail you that fuel line retaining clip. I have a couple salvage yard 5.3l's and one had a burnt intake. You are welcome to the clip. Its one of the only things not melted on that intake!
Mike
Mr. Mike, sir you have a PM. I want to thank you, you are a life saver!!!
I can't wait till this weekend. I hope to at least get a full days work in. With all of these classes and midterms...I think my brain is fry'd!
Totally need the day just to relax..I plan on spending some time this week on finally bolting up the engine to the trans.
Keep the updates coming! I'm following this thread with anticipation!
