Well guys its been a while.

After this my back went to s**t and i had to have back surgery. I bought a TBSS

Modded her quite a bit but i had my brother to help me work on her
    Anyway
I went back to my dads house 2 weekends ago and started working on her again. I finished installing the Hyperflex kit including the body mounts, so now every single rubber bushing is gone!
My plans changed and now I'm going with a carbed set up.
Here is a pic of how she looked when i left my dads house.

I had gone a different route and was going to install a 4l60E but i really want to keep the 5 speed.
I know i will need a flywheel from a 4.8l truck and i already have the throw out bearing and pilot bearing.

    That should be it correct?
You know i still have to find the throw out bearing and pilot bearing
I hope i dont have to buy them again.

    Oh yeah
The TBSS was sold. Sad sad day

You can use any lsx flywhee that is the same diameter as the clutch u r using, i have the slock throw-out, and using a roller bearing for the 4.8l, but on selecting the disc make sure its a 10-spline for ur trans input shaft to match

    Thanks
Ill get on this ASAP, plans for the weekend will be to remove the motor and clean up the engine bay again. Bolt up the trans to the motor and drop in the truck again.

Just picked up the last 4.8 flywheel in Houston from O Riley's.

    Ok
    2 things
I had to take the line up pins on the flywheel off in order for the pressure plate to sit right. Holes line up no problems there. Or is there?
    Your thoughts

The pilot bearing is loose on my crank. Enough for me to know that it's not right. Any way I can get a shim and wrap the bearing in it or look for a bigger one? My motor is a 6.0 so that might be the difference.

Tell what kind of flywheel, pilot bearing, and pressure plate/clutch disc do you have? you got 5.3l written in the title
Im sorry i didnt know you went with a 6.0l its gonna be different. gotta get a car/ls1 pilot bearing. make sure ur input shaft measures 1-1/8 10 spline. and that the clutch diameter is a 11 7/8 in.
