    OK i got the 80e can anyone tell me the web sit to go to to get the harness addapter and crossmember

    You can do both yourself if your good at wiring and welding. Or Nelson Performance can make you the harness for under $100 and Pact can do the crossmember.....Or kyle at kbracing who is on this site.

    well im a cirtified welder and i do my own wiring so i think i can do it myself

    ok i got a 4l80e with 90,000 miles one it should i have it checked out before i put it in

    You just have to remember the 60E is not weak.

    Its just a car trans, that GM put into a heavy ass truck that
    was never intended to be flogged on.

    You'll be happy with 80E I'm sure.

    Dropping then pan and looking at the fluid, screens on the solenoids, etc can tell you a lot. IF anything, just a new filter and fluid change will be enough.

    When I swap mine in Im doing a hd2 shift kit and a 10 inch converter. Helps out alot with the added rotating mass.
