06 4.8 sts turbo install advice(newbie)

ok fixed the smoking issue , we had to re-clock the turbo oil line to straight down ,it was running parrallel to the ground at first . but i have to get a new oil pump asap

I am running an aftermarket pump on mine because the original owner had the STS oil pump and it failed on him twice.

looks like a good one there, going to order it saturday, my STS oil pump is REALLY loud so im not going to chance it ,im just going to let the truck sit till the new one comes in.

That would be the best bet. Look at seeing if you can call STS to get that buzzer as well.

i was looking at the buzzer setup, looks like a positve and ground setup, i was going to look into intalling a red light inside the truck next to my boost guages to come on when the oil pump fails. should be simple wiring .

That would be a good idea too. Are you going to be running meth? I have a green light that lights up once the meth pump kicks on and starts spraying and thats right by my boost gauge

im looking to run meth . i would like to order the setup maybe next few weeks or so, i want to get all the kinks out first then get injectors,and nelson tune.followed by a FLT tranny. bills are coming so must take care of them first.
