Ya know I really think that is the route I am going to go. Does anyone know what these trucks came with from the factory? Wasn't it just conventional 5-30? One of our outstanding Autozone employees was trying to tell me the truck recommends a semi-snythetic and that is what it came with?

i'd say run something like castrol gtx with a wix filter & be done with it.
00 FRC - just top end, exhaust, and a hot-air intake
    99 Sierra - 5.3 / 5spd
