The LQ9s had flat pistons. The LQ4s had dished pistons.

The LQ9s came is; Silverado SS, Denalie, Escalades(?), GM trucks with the High Output Option..... Anything I'm missing?

OK guys you kind of lost me on this. 6.0 would be best for the Maggie right?
Does anyone know somewhere I might find a 6.0 and 4L80e with far miles on it in the KY area. Now on the ECU I can use the one in the truck right it is a 4.8 but I have to have it re tuned for the 6.0 and 4L80e Right? I know that I am dumber than a rock on this but I need the get it all strait in my head before I get to buying things.

Nope, mine's an LQ4 VIN U. The GMC guys can't have better stuff than the Caddy guys.... At least the new ones have the same 6.2 as the Cadillac.
