    Hell yeah it&#39;s possible. Look at BlueCajun5.3--he&#39;s running a 12.53@106.73 with his N/A 5.3L RCSB. His truck is one bad mofo. It is definitely possible. You could go ahead and drop in the 5.3L, building it up, then once you find a good 6.0L, then you can swap the 5.3L into your &#39;59. That would be a great approach. Go ahead and do that--and once you get it in, hand us your checkbook so we can spend your money wisely so that you can get into the high 13&#39;s...

    welcome to the site this is a cool place for mods. i have a 4.8 that runs mid 14 no nitrious all bolt ons and no posi or stall convertor , i do have traction problemcs though. if you do the bolt ons i have listed you should get low 14 all day with no problem considering you have a built tranny and rear end.
    LR4 4.8 vortec , cat-cutouts, TRUE DUALS,airaid intake, MAF summit, 80mm throttle body, edlebrock headers, PCM,lowerd C-notch,flex-a-lite e-fan,180 stat. best 1/8 mile 9.9 at 79 mph
