bare block is about 680 and the rotating assy from eagle is about 2140.00 then you have to do machine work on everything and assy... and the other misc pieces thatyou mentioned... recon i need to call TRT tomorrow and see what they can get a short block for and go from there... might make my life a little easier...

Okay, note to retard shade tree mechanic...

1.) When transmission acts up, check fluid level.
2.) When replacing a small diameter torque convertor with a stock size behemoth, add transmission fluid to fill the extra capacity.
    3.) Don't be a deet-dee-dee

Oh, BTW, the transmission was fine, it was a problem with the person operating it.

so what diameter converter did you have and i am assuming that the stock one is like 13" or something? what was the high stall 11" or something? glad that you got it fixed and taken care of...lol thats funny though sounds like something that i would do though...lol dont feel too bad....

It was a Precision Industries Vigilante, 10.5" diameter I believe. Stock is close to 13". I think I'm going to send it back for re-stalling. 4000 RPM is too much for my truck as a daily driver. It's supposed to be a 3600 stall but it stalls up to 4000 RPM at flash and in 2nd from a stop. What's funny is that if someone described to me what it was doing I would have told them to check their fluid level. What a tard.
