    Questions about race:

Do we already have an account that is accepting donations for furthest traveled racer/spectactor? One stipulation to this is the person must DRIVE their GM vehicle/truck to the race track. (if a racer wins and breaks his truck, you can store it at the shop until you decide what to do) Keep in mind, you might have enough money to get a hotel for a night and fly home, lol) OR, we can setup a can at the racetrack and take collections. I can setup a donation button if that's decided.

We need tshirts!!! Anyone have any ideas? How about the flyer we're gonna print. I already spent $$ on that design, but we're open to anything.

It has all the sponsors, the year, etc, nice pic.

Somebody offered to make a trophy for the fastest truck winner! You guys still doing it. Idea: flywheel base, cam for height, a few pistons, rods, etc welded to make a cone base, something like that. Check out the latest Chevy Hi Performance mag, Feb 09, pg 63. I'm sure I have a bunch of engine junk I'm not using. Maybe the fastest winner doesn't keep it, but passes it on to the next winner, hmm.

    I'm getting flyers made up.

    We're getting closer guys!

The event tshirt should have the event flyer on it IMO. That would rock. That will also drive us to have a bitchin' flyer to put out and post links to. Maybe corporate sponsors would be interested if they knew we were looking for sponsors. Add it to the flyer and see if anyone bites. Send an email to any and all companies that supply parts for LSx engines that you have contacts to via PRC or SEMA.

We have a cam donated by Jeff, we have a fly wheel off of Mics truck (he won't miss it at all), I have a cam sprocket and some other small stuff I will donate. Anyone have some rods or pistons laying around, 3 of each maybe? We'll get the trophy done. Will sponsors names be put on the back of the T shirts?

I will in no way be the fastest there. I'll suggest certificates go to the person who tears up the most chit going down the track.... Not that I wish that upon anyone but Chit Happens!
