    wiring sucks!

so im trying to get this wiring stuff in order but its killing me! im trying to use my original obs fuse box for the starter and fuel pump relays.
heres a pic of the wiring

heres the location of the relays

on my harness i have a relay for the fuel pump already and just a grey wire sticking out. where do i connect it to on the stock fuse box. im guessing i would be bypassing the relay on the fuse box since i have one on the harness. what color wire would the stock fuel pump wire be that i need to connect the grey wire from the harness to???

i should be able to use the original starter wire from the truck. if not what do i do??

i have a connector on my harness labeled "vss" im guessing it plugs into the trans. but on my harness i have a dark green wire that also says vss. so im guessing the connector to the trans gives the pcm the signal and the green one is for the speedo?

    has anyone done this before??

I know on the 92-93 the grey wire goes directly to the fuel pump as a power source.

oh ok so i can connect the grey wire from the harness to the grey wire in the fuse box. i could just cut the wire and connect it right?

havent updated this in a while. been waiting on a few parts to come in the mail to tie this thing a thing all up.

had to order a new timing cover because....

and i broke the coil with one of the chains from the hoist

also i was going to hook up my power steering pump today and realized on my obs i have 2 lines but on the lm7 there are 3 different connections on the ps pump...any help on this?

so im still pretty much at a standstill. got the core support and bumper fenders and hood all bolted up finally. just sent out the pcm to get re programmed. waiting on my timing cover starter and coil. talk to a guy at jims performance and he told me how to sort out the wiring.

what did you learn about the wiring? i just started tearing into the truck harness to see what i have to keep & what has to be removed.
i had to get a harness from pull a part since i sold mine with my motor so his swap would be all plug & play for him. little did i realize at the time i was still going to need part of my harness.

ok i think i figured out the PS issue. i believe this motor came from a truck that had hydroboost so that third connection had something to do with the brakes...i dont know for sure just something i remembered when i was looking into hydroboost. can i just cap it off or what should i do?

basically the guy i talk to told me what pins to remove from the obs pcm and plug it straight into the ls pcm. makes for a really easy install without having to splice tomany wires.i have all the info scattered over a few emails. once i get it all compiled together ill make a thread. ill try to do it today.
