I need to find the recomended sealed inclosure airspace. Its prob like .65-1.0 cubic FT for those subs or around there. They sit down and design it to make the boxes how they should be. That will get the best sound out of your subs.the airspace as much as possible i guess....they are two alpine type r....i'll most likely have to rockford 500s amps running them....

do you want sealed or ported enclosures?? i can get it drawn up either way...
did you checkout the other profile someone had suggested??
it all kind of depends on how radical you want everything.... im not real knowledgeable about things that tricked out like his, but if you need function and basic form i can do it
sprayedenali: i like catching, but not fishing
DBTBSS: bring Tyler... we need someone to make fun of
MidnightRider: your right im gay
DamnYankee: my nana failed
DamnYankee: confused...if it can't keep up to begin with, how can it keep up
mitch cobb racing: ya, allen played with it for a while, HUGE difference
yea i checked out that other profile and he's been a big help too...i was told my friend who use to work with speakers and he said ported boxes are no good cause you lose a lot of the bass sound when it escapes out the ports. so a sealed box is better..im looking toward something simle but gets the job done.
thanks for all your help guys...

sealed will get u a crisp bass, ported gets u a louder bass. if u want the cars next to u to hear ur bass go ported if u want to hear good quality sound in ur truck go sealed. ported needs to be bigger and also to do it right ull need tuned tubes for ur opening.
for me personally id rather have the crisp bass...but i have two rockford 500s amps running 2 alpine type r's those are loud already....so wit the windows down people next to me will hear me anyways...lol...if i hook up a ps2 and a 7"lcd would i need to change my alternator?
