I have a GM 135 (biggest I could get at the dealer) I used it for about 4 months. I'd be willing to trade something for it. I took it out when I went to 6 TV's I didn't wanna cook my system. I considered running a dual alt setup but with the supercharger coming I'm running outta room lol.

    Cool

    105A is insufficient for e-fans.

Should both fans be running with the air on? How do allen's fan programs work?

I got some dual fans from a Thunderbird and wired them up in my truck. They pull over 3000cfm!! I forget the exact specs but they pull more than any aftermarket assembly out there and cost me 20 bucks at a junkyard (you can also get a Mark VI electric fan setup, it's a single fan but huge and pulls over 3000cfm). With both fans on it pulls about 32amps. I wired each fan individually on a 20amp circuit and too a switch, surprisingly by big aluminum radiator (carquest replacement) keeps it cool under cruise with no fans on. I rarely have to have them on. Even at a long stop light (I live in Florida too) it MAYBE gets to 195-200 but under cruise stays around 185, I only turn the fans on under towing. I did it more for the room under the hood when I did my blower

Ah VTEC. All the lag, none of the turbo. It's like waiting for bad sex.

if i were u i would go with the 160 it might be a lil more then what u want but u will need it if ur going to run the fans and ur subs together. if u use the same alt u got now u might cook some thing. because ur dash lights r already cutting out when ur subs r on just think about when u put the fans on.

i run a 145 amp alt with my ls1 e-fans. no problems there.

but did you know f-body's alternator is only 102 amps.

go figure and they don't have any problems.

With everything on (AC/high, headlights, wipers, fans/high, in drive)mine drops down in the 12 volt range at idle with the f-body alt and fans. It is ok at anything above 550 RPMs.
