I started with the flat plates they show there, and bolted regular SBC brackets to them. Not a perfect fit IMO. It puts the end of the trans and the motor 15mm (a little over 9/16") further forward than it needs to be. I re-made the flat plates with the additional offset, and everything fits perfect, driveshaft is dead nuts to how it&#39;s supposed to be. My truck is a SCLB, so it has the longest 1-piece driveshaft. I did not want to loose any slip yoke engagement, so I went the extra mile (or 15mm in this case) to get everything spot on.

If you do not have the tools to fab your own though, these would be a decent start.


Anybody able to run the block mounted AC with these brackets? It won&#39;t fit with mine, 15 offset or not.

I think so but I would talk to Summit before you bought them.

To use the stock a/c you have to notch and box the frame for clearance.
