Since its under a roof and its not gonna get in any worse condition I'll probably let it sit right where its at till I finish my turbo truck. I have no plans for selling it but just out of curiosity what would some of you guys ask for this car?

All original, rust free? Up here it's about 10k as it sits.

You just won the lottery my friend. As for value; I'm an A-body lover myself and a bit sentimental so I would say the car is priceless if I were in your shoes. I can't count how many offers for my GTO that I've denied. I would honestly think the right person would give closer to $20,000 or more if it cleaned up good enough. I don't really shop for Oldsmobiles but GTO and lemans barn finds like this one bring prices closer to the 15-25k range. If I were you, I'd clean it, polish it, tune it up, and enjoy it. Forget the truck, this car shouldn't take much of your time or money. I made the mistake of putting other projects in front of my goat and it turned into one of my only regrets.

Awesome find man, that really is a great looking car man. I remember my dad having one that was green with a white top in the early 80'S.

Thanks guys! Joined a classic Oldsmobile forum last week and have been doing a little research on the car. Frenchy you were right the guys on the olds site say from 10-25 k! I'm trying to talk one of my buddies into letting me put it in his shop before the barn falls down in on it. From reading over on the olds site the spare engine I have for it is a very sought after engine. Its a 425 super rocket 365 HP and 470tq from the factory. I didn't give a penny for it ha ha . When I was going to school to be an automotive machinist a kid brought the engine in so he would have something to practice on, kid dropped out and left his engine and the teacher gave it to me. Hope everything works out with this car. I can picture myself driving around with the windows up and ac blowing with my 4 yo baby girl ha ha !

    Very nice find!

Post some pics after you have some time to clean it up.
