    Thanks for the input guys. Wow was aware the 4.8 compression was so low. Ill go with a good dual valve spring. Mill the heads about .020 and port match the to a high flow intake. Guess ill go 5.3 or LY6 if the lil 4.8 has crappy compression.

    comps camquest suggest a 247/255 .624-.624 on 114 lsa for a 5.3

    gunna need a short runner intake to make it pull to 7500.

    Vic JR sound good for intake? Should i run a elbow and a 90mm tb or a edelbrock carb style throttle body that flows 1000cfm?

    Stock rods will not last very long at 7500 rpms...

    on a truck yes youre right. on a 3000lb or less car itll last a good while

    We shall see. It should be around 3500 lbs race weight!
