I know Motormite "Help Line" used to, and probably still does, make a 5/8" heater fitting that is straight through 5/8" and had a little like 1/4" piece "T" into it. That would work for you and make it easy.

Once again , thanks for all of the input . Ok , right now , the TB is not bypassed and I've got the outlet that would go to the radiator plugged .I haven't had any problem with overheating that I can observe . My cooling fan seems to be coming on a little bit late but going down the road it stays at about 150 or 160 . I've also got another question but I'm going to start a new thread for that one . 'Purciate it !

Question? On a stock 2001 LS1 F-Body engine...The front steam line from the heads goes to the drivers side throttle-body(?)...And then where does it go? I know where it's going to go on my conversion...But, what was the stock factory route? Just curious. Thanks, Gar

REDHEARTBEAT , I have a question for you . In your earlier post you say that this line should not be blocked at all . But in a later one , you say that it can if the TB is bypassed . I want to make sure I'm not harming my engine . Could you clarify ? Thanks .

If you bypass the throttle body you can block off the hose ends going in and coming out of the throttle body. Just be sure that you route the steam line coming out of the heads to a water passage somewhere so it can flow. You do not want air/steam staying in the top end of the engine. I'd take pictures of what I was talking about if I could. Thank the bastages that stole my truck for that.
