whats a good price for a 6.0 long block used?
Look for at least less than 1000 although some have been found for less. Once in a blue moon someone gets a stupid deal for like less than 300$. Start with your local junkyards, LKQ, and Ebay if you feel like rolling the dice. Good luck plenty of documentation on this one out there your long from the first to do this just use the search button or even google although that willl likely just lead you straight back here.

It just gets old. This is literally an everyday thing and you know it. It's just proper forum etiquette to read the stickies, especially when they are so blatantly obvious.
The 99-00 had a longer crank snout that is a pain in the ass to deal with. I'm wanting to say its .5"-1" longer than the later ones and requires 99-00 trans parts to make work. Just a hassle that isn't worth dealing with, especially when the newer 6.0s have better heads anyway.
