    didn't someone put a turbo 2jz into a 68-69 camaro?
i'm a big fan of the 2jz myself, my wife has an 01 IS300, but i'm thinking more about buying another one & put an LS1 with a 6 speed in it.

yes its a maroon/reddish color car

everyone thinks the 2jz is such a badass motor that it can make power from factory. Has anyone actually seen the numbers a LS motor produces under boost? 2jz doesnt have on a LS motor. not to mention the 2jz is a fortune to R&R if need to be were you can find another LS motor anywere now a days

It'll decimate all if you sink about 15 grand into it.

roughly 700 hp on a stock bottom end, that's pretty impressive & parts for them are pretty easy to get.
i know 2 local guys that put down 800-1000 hp in their street driven supras & i do work for a supra forum that has some pretty impressive cars.
granted i would take an LS over the 2jz, like i said the IS would be a great family car with an ls1 & a 6 speed but the 2jz definitely holds it own.
