    Ive got an awd 6L80 from a Denali that I need to get rid of. Only 10k on it when the truck was wrecked. Buy it. Buy it now.........

    There's a reason that trans was behind stock 4.8s and 4.3s.

    zebra dont feel bad, most do not want a junk tranny anyway. i bet the nnbs guys feel bad for us not having an option for a 6L80e. i want one bad.

    hmm... which transmission is it that's notorious for having to have a performance rebuild just because somebody adds a set of headers?

    now which one has been proven to hold even behind big block swaps without modification? nv3500

    nobody claims that it has any high-performance capability like race gearing or a fast-reacting master/slave setup, but it has proven to hold its ground way better than a 4L60


    ...that & it's much more fun to drive when you're doing more than just pushing the skinny pedal. any lemming can do that

    what would i need an automatic trans for? yard ornament?

    6l80 one of strongest factory trannys out there

    its the ppl who are tuning them is why they fail!!!!!!!!!!!

    i told this jokingly said if i ever go another driveline in truck it will be a dropout of a newer truck. figure the wiring wouldnt be to hard to adapt into the trucks
