    3.5in exhaust, how bad is it?

    bought all the mandrels to make the exhaust for my swap, 2.5in y into a flowmaster merge to a single 3.5 with an aero chamber. bought bigger planning on mods down the road. how bad is torque gonna suffer on a stock lm7 with a cai?

    Depends what other mods do you have? shouldn't be too bad.

    Its more than you need but your stock manifolds aren't gonna flow great. So that means you prolly wont lose any down low. Like ^he^ said its over kill for the time being. However single 3.5 is good to like 400 some odd horsepower. So thats good if youve got big plans.

    thanks for the input. i bought this truck with the intentions of first doing a swap and then doing a homemade turbo setup. didnt want to have to make a whole diff exhaust six months or so down the road.
