my heads are still stock Broseph, and i already kicked Tyler's mom out the back so there is 200 plus #'s gone seriously there isnt much i can strip off. Bumper gone, spare gone, receiver gone, spare tire holder gone, cant think of much else to take out of it. I might buy Stunna's 4.8 and swap my 5.3 crank in it and boost my compression and have a fresh short block, then throw on some ported heads and better intake....

For a realitively heavy vehicle, I think you would be better off with the cam you have vs. a "bigger cam". Heck, you may even see a gain in e.t. going with a smaller cam?

One of the car magazines did a cam comparo with 7 cams (the stock one and 6 grinds from comp). The smallest cam from comp smoked all the others in AVERAGE Hp and Tq, except the biggest cam. The biggest cam had slightly higher average #s due to its very high peak #s. In the useable street engine RPM range, say 2500-6000, the smallest one shined.

I was blown away, but the article made a lasting impression in my mind.

Who are you trying to beat Mr. GreenMonster ? I think that you are at a stopping point on what you can get out of it N/A... spray or boost is the next step and the other added mods to make that happen is expensive... ask yourself how much do you want to spend
