I found that the pick up tube o ring was pinched, So i replace that o ring and now every thing is good and the knock went away. Im pritty sure it the rockers not getting oil.
That's exactly what it does! I'll pull the pan tomorrow and check the o-ring. I'll let you know what I find out! Thanks.

I guess I should have clarified....my dad's shop is going to pull the pan and replace the o-ring.

The one and ONLY time I will say this...Tyler is right, I'm not the greatest with a wrench.. Mostly because every time I need to have something done, a guy at my dad's shop takes care of it while I'm at work or something.

Yep, got a new one coming to replace just to be sure along with a new dipstick tube. The tube managed to get a hole in it right where the bracket attaches to it and sprayed oil all over the engine bay....what a mess

Yep, it was the o-ring! It was cracked and pinched! They are replacing it now so I'll test it out and let you know! Thanks for the help!

    AAAHHH, music to my ears.

It is crazy how many times a lifter problem ends up being something to do with the pickup tube and o-ring...

I know you don't hear that very often Tyler...

Yep, that fixed it! My oil pressure is slightly higher at idle and i did several hard runs and didn't have an issue! Thanks!!
