It shouldn't have smoked clutches. Its a brand new transmission. thats the first and only time its ever been drove. its a 2wd. Yes, i checked all the wires and grounds as suggested. Im lost on what the problem is!

2003 RCSS Chevy 5.3L Fully Bolted, Cammed, Yanked, and 342s. Borla Exhaust w/ Electric Cutouts.
Get it scanned, that should help pinpoint the problem.
+1 Jeff. Just because it's newly rebuilt does not mean the 3-4 is working properly.
